The document referred to below constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Coco Clara Ltd. (“Coco Clara”, “we” or “us”) which operates the website with the domain name, www.cococlara.com (the “Site”).

It documents your rights and responsibilities and ours with regards to (a) your access to the Site; (b) your use of the Site; (c) any communications sent from Coco Clara; (d) all information, products, services, and materials contained on our site.

By entering the Site you unconditionally accept the terms and conditions in this Agreement (set out below) and any future alterations we may make subsequently.

If you do not accept these Terms, do not use this Site. We may change these Terms from time to time and if we change these Terms, we will post the revised document here, so you should review them each time that you visit the Site. You should print a copy of these Terms for future reference.

1. USERS
1a.Anyone who enters our Site is deemed a user (“User”). You are free to enter the site whenever you wish whilst adhering to all the relevant terms and conditions.

1b.The use of this website is permitted for personal use only. Please remember that it is illegal to re-publish, sell, reproduce or otherwise exploit any items on our site for material purposes from this website, or create any item based on the content of this site.

1c.You alone are absolutely responsible for any information sent to us and its accuracy and validity. You agree that you will not use and that you will not allow the use of any device or method that could possibly interfere with our Site. You may access and view the content appearing on this website for personal, non-commercial use only.

1d.We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site and the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

2. GENERAL
2a.Any information, content or opinions given on our website are purely subjective and we cannot guarantee its fitness for purpose or accuracy.

2b.The contents of the Site, do not represent any form of advice by us and is not intended to be used as such. We reserve the right to change the content at any time and will not be held liable for any failure of software during a purchase or at any time whilst using our site.

2c.Please be absolutely sure you wish to purchase an item before you commit to buy it. If you fail to contact us with payment details by the agreed date, the item will no longer be reserved for you and will be offered to other potential clients.

3. PRODUCTS
3a.Under no circumstances will you find any reproductions and, unless stated clearly, all our items are in good condition and 100% original, free from enhancements.

4. DELIVERY & HANDLING
4a.We offer free standard worldwide delivery service on all orders via Royal Mail.

4b.If customers wish, we can dispatch items via FedEx, at an additional fixed cost of £60.00.

4c.A purchase will be shipped within 2 business days of receipt of payment and when the necessary checks have been completed. Items will not be shipped to a postal box address.

4d.All items are fully insured and sent at the risk of Coco Clara.

4e.Items will be sent out as soon as your money has been cleared.

4f.On international orders, the customer is responsible for all additional duties, taxes and/or tariffs that might incur.

5. RETURNS
We will accept returned goods for a refund if you:
5a.Contact us to let us know of your intention to return the item and return it to us within 14 days via a secure and insured service.

5b.For UK customers, returns are paid for by Coco Clara. Please return the item to us within its original packaging (including padded envelope) and enclose it in the pre-paid and addressed plastic envelope that accompanies your order. Please drop off the parcel at your local Post Office® branch for dispatch and do NOT post in a post box.

5c.For international customers, you are responsible for arranging to have the item(s) returned to us, and for any costs incurred. We strongly recommend that you use FedEx to return your items to us, as we are not responsible for items which do not reach us.

5d.It is the responsibility of the international customer to label the returned package correctly as returned goods, so as to avoid any needless charges when re-entering the UK. If there are any charges incurred for returned items, that are out of our control, such as import duties, then these will be deducted from the refund amount.

5e.Please be aware that international customs duties, sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

5f.Return items in the same condition as they were received by you – damaged, broken or altered items will not be accepted for a refund. Please remember you are buying a piece of antique jewellery which must be treated with care. These items are not suitable to wear whilst gardening, washing / showering, playing sport etc. Foil-backed items must not come into contact with water as this will cause discolouration. The items offered for sale on this site are antiques in good condition and with careful treatment should remain that way.

5g.The refund will be in the same form as the original payment. If paid via credit card, please allow a few days once the refund is processed to show on your statement, depending on your issuing bank.

5h.If the returned item is a ring that we have re-sized for free, then we will deduct the cost of sizing from the refund amount, at a fixed cost of £60.00.

6. EXCHANGES
We will accept returned goods for an exchange if you:
6a.Contact us to let us know of your intention to return the item and return it to us within 60 days, at your expense, via a secure and insured service.

6b.For international customers, please mark the package as ‘Return of sample merchandise, origin UK, item over 100 years old’. We strongly recommend that you use FedEx to return your items to us, as we are not responsible for items which do not reach us.

6c.It is the responsibility of the international customer to label the returned package correctly as returned goods, so as to avoid any needless charges when re-entering the UK. If there are any charges incurred for returned items, that are out of our control, such as import duties, then these will be deducted from the refund amount.

7. PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting your privacy and will never give your details out to any third party without your expressly asking us to do so. We will store your data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The data we keep pertains only to delivery details and we will only send you mail directly relating to your purchase from us, to include annual service requests and Christmas cards. All transactions are strictly confidential and we will not have access to your credit card details.

8. DISCLAIMER
8a.The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by Coco Clara and while we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

8b.In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.

8c.Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of Coco Clara. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.

8d.Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Coco Clara takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
